Our Assembly Process

When it comes to the pursuit of crafting the perfect bike, we at Pivot Cycles take pride in our hands-on, detail-oriented approach to assembly.

While our bikes are manufactured overseas, it is at our Tempe, AZ headquarters where the magic truly happens. With over 30 full-time employees dedicated to the assembly process, we ensure that every bike leaving our facility is nothing short of exceptional.

Craftsmanship

At the heart of our assembly process is the belief that true craftsmanship is irreplaceable. Despite the temptation to outsource assembly to cut costs, Pivot Cycles firmly believes in the value of having complete control over the quality of our products. By doing the brunt of the assembly process in-house, we can maintain strict quality standards, and ensure every aspect of the process receives personal attention.

Electric Avenue

Step inside the Tempe headquarters, and you’ll find the bustling “Electric Avenue,” where our impressive line of e-bikes comes to life. This specialized section serves as both a production line and quality control hub for all electric bicycles. Every e-bike undergoes rigorous testing and inspections to ensure it meets the brand’s stringent criteria for performance and safety.

Personal Touch

One of the most remarkable aspects of our assembly process is the fully equipped warehouse that houses our production line. This in-house approach fosters collaboration among employees from various departments, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to teamwork and a shared passion for all things bikes.

The personal touch is evident in every step of our assembly process. Each bike is meticulously crafted with attention to detail, ensuring that it not only functions flawlessly but also reflects the artistry of the team behind it. The process begins with individual components being carefully picked and inspected before assembly. Our skilled technicians take great care in putting together the intricate parts, focusing on precision to optimize performance and longevity.

Quality Control

During the assembly process, the quality control team remains vigilant, conducting multiple checkpoints to verify that each bike adheres to our brand’s high standards. You can learn more about the level of detail we take in our QC process from our Quality Control journal.
