Description:

Accounts Receivable Admin

Description:

Tempe, Arizona-based Pivot Cycles is looking for a friendly, motivated mountain bike rider/enthusiast to join the credit & collections team at Pivot Cycles. The Accounts Receivable Admin is responsible for daily tasks related to cash application with posting daily payments and assisting with customer adjustments or refund requests. This position also aids in the day-to-day activities such as performing administrative tasks specific to ensuring timely collections of aged receivables along with consistency with customer credit folders and customer profile set-ups within our systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Post/enter customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions 
  • Provide daily report of applied payments & identify over/short variance payments 
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to facilitate effective cash application, timely payments, and reduction of customer disputes  
  • Work directly with credit & collections team to proactively identify accounts with collections issues or that should be placed on payment plans during cash application process 
  • Support credit & collections team with researching customer’s questions about payment application, balances due, credits on account or refund requests 
  • Send or gather statements, invoice copies, & supporting backup as needed

Purchasing Coordinator

Description:

Tempe, Arizona-based Pivot Cycles is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join our growing purchasing team at the ground level. This position will work closely with the purchasing and forecasting teams to deliver quality data to support supply chain needs now and in the future.

  • Review incoming vendor PO confirmations from all vendors

International Sales Specialist

Description

The International Sales Specialist is responsible for ensuring continued growth of international sales through account management and identifying opportunities in new and existing internationals markets.  The position requires international travel for 20+ weeks per year, and compensation will be based on a salary + commission model.  Primary responsibilities will include training distributors’ sales staff on the technical details of our product, representing Pivot at sales and marketing events, and performing order entry and follow-up.  

While the primary focus will be on smaller, emerging markets, the International Sales Specialist will capitalize on their frequent international travel schedule to pay occasional visits to larger accounts for special events and other unique sales opportunities. 

Responsibilities
  • Create sales opportunities in existing and new markets 
  • Provide feedback to the sales and product management teams to help grow sales 
  • Monitor incoming product and collaborate with International Sales Coordinators to deliver product in a manner that promotes the most efficient seasonal sell-through 
  • Train dealers and distributors to ensure their sales staff understands how best to showcase our product 
  • Work with accounts to ensure their technical staff can assist customers and vet potential warranty issues

Description

Demo Technician (Future Demo Driver)

Description

Pivot Cycles is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented person with a passion for cycling to join our team. The Demo Technician supports and maintains the Pivot Cycles demo bikes in cooperation with the sales and marketing teams. In addition to being an excellent mechanic, the successful candidate will need to have exemplary people skills to work with the public while at demos. This position requires traveling one to two weekends per month during the spring, summer, and fall.

Demo Drivers are selected out of the Demo Technician staff to go on the road full time when a position is available. Demo Technicians must be willing to transition to a Demo Driver role as needed and be willing to travel full time (11 of 12 months), in one to two years.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain physical inventory of service parts 
  • Maintain and adjust product inventory using ERP software 
  • Assist in cataloging and shipping of service parts to demo teams 
  • Manage inventory adjustments between demo fleets 
  • Build new demo bikes 
  • Prepare, clean and tune demo bikes for employee and local dealer demos 
  • Service retired demo bikes to prep for sale 
  • Traveling to and working at selected demo events and festivals 
  • Assist with the shipping, assembly, and QC teams when necessary 
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace 
  • Work closely with other departments 
Requirements

International Shipping and Logistics Specialist

Description

We are looking for an individual to join our International Shipping and Logistics team. This person will help coordinate sales orders, prepare them for shipment, and communicate with customers about their shipments as well as help to coordinate and receive inbound international shipments.  

Import: 

  • Ability to review and approve/or have changes made to 7501 
  • Proper filing in the Pivot System of every 7501 and corresponding import documents (Commercial Invoices/Packing Lists/AWB/BOL/Etc.) 
  • Review HTS classifications and country of origins for special provisions and allowances and subsequently utilize those allowances when appropriate  
  • Properly quote and compare rates for shipments between multiple forwarders and parcel carriers.   
  • Arrange shipments with forwarders/parcel companies/and vendors based on quotes, transit times, and needs 
  • Consolidate vendor orders when appropriate to maximize shipping efficiency  
  • Help to maintain a database of products/HTS codes/country of origins/import duty rates 
  • Identify delays in shipments and address with carriers to minimize the effects of those delays  
  • Review shipment costs for accuracy and approval or dispute 
  • Understand Incoterms and their effects on shipment costs and ownership 
  • Understand the difference between actual weight and volume weight and how those figures are achieved 
  • Calculate landed costs as needed  
  • Ability to communicate the movements and/or delays of shipments and products with appropriate team members 
  • Identify cost savings opportunities in logistics and/or negotiate rates with forwarders and carriers 

Export: 

  • Invoice and ship distributor orders 
  • Properly create a Commercial Invoice and Packing List with accurate information and incoterms for exports 
  • Work with Forwarders to arrange pick up, export, and EEI filings on distributor orders 
  • Communicate/provide necessary information to distributors on shipments 
  • Retrieve proper proof of export documents for distributor orders 
  • File all necessary export documentation in Pivot filing system

Description

We are looking for an all-around CNC Set-up Machinist/Programmer for our prototyping department. The ideal candidate will need experience with CAD/CAM programming, set up, and machining parts for both mills and lathes. They should also have qualified skills with conventional manual equipment and experience in composites, fabrication, and welding are a plus.
