International Sales Coordinator

Description

The International Sales Coordinator (ISC) will report to the International Sales Manager and be responsible for ensuring orders from international distributors are entered, allocated and managed accurately and efficiently, while also identifying opportunities to grow sales incrementallyThe ISC may be required to travel internationally 3-4 weeks per yearPrimary responsibilities will include booking orders in our ERP system and then monitoring the booked orders, customer credit status, and incoming product deliveries to identify opportunities to create international shipmentsAdditionally, the ISC will work with purchasing and logistics teams to move product between global warehouses as necessary.  

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with international distributor network to book and fulfill orders 
  • Identify opportunities for incremental sales gains 
  • Routine communication with purchasing teams within the global distribution network 
  • Liaise with warehouse staff for order processing 
  • Train new staff with training in processes and tools 
  • Create and maintain SOP documents to ensure standardized knowledge base amongst the international sales team 
  • Coordinate in-person logistics during customer visits and in-house events 
  • Enter orders and send confirmations 
Requirements
  • Sales or logistics experience in the outdoor or bike industry  
  • College degree 
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills for emails and calls to foreign countries 
  • Thorough understanding of MS Excel 
  • Experience with MS Great Plains or similar ERP 
  • Experience with Hubspot or similar CRM 
  • Flexible schedule that allows for off-hours phone calls and emails 
  • Valid passport for occasional international travel

Industrial Designer

Description

The Industrial Designer will be a detail-oriented individual who will use their design background as well as bicycle industry experience to design frames and components. This person will be an integral member of the Design/Engineering team and work to bring future Pivot Cycles products from idea to reality.

Responsibilities
  • Design complete production-ready bicycle frames, parts, and assemblies 
  • Effectively manage production timelines and vendor schedules 
  • Create production support documentation and presentations 
  • Support prototype and research projects 
  • Work with artists to design vendor-ready graphics packages for bicycle frames and components 
  • Nearly all of this position’s time is spent 3D modeling/surfacing carbon fiber bicycle frames 
Requirements
  • A degree in industrial design or similar field 
  • Minimum two years of bicycle/frame design experience  
  • Project management and project scheduling skills 
  • Talent creating exceptional aesthetic, functional 3D design 
  • High proficiency in SolidWorks with the ability to model high quality surfaces, complex assemblies and production drawings with tolerances 
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud 
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products – Power Point, Excel, Word and Outlook 
  • Teamwork and communication skills 
  • Mechanical knowledge of bicycles and a passion for mountain biking 
  • Ability to travel outside the country

Bike Mechanic & Quality Control Technician - Germany

Description

We are looking for a friendly individual with an objective for maintaining our company standards, strong mechanical skills and good knowledge of the bicycle industry. As a Quality Control & Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for checking and maintaining the quality of every product so that it meets our standards and manufacturing guidelines in addition to various warehouse duties.

Wir suchen eine freundliche Person, welche sich für die Einhaltung unserer Unternehmensstandards einsetzt, handwerklich/mechanisch geschickt ist und über gute Kenntnisse in der Fahrradbranche verfügt. Als TechnikerIn für Qualitätskontrolle und Lagerhaltung sind Sie für die Einhaltung der Qualität aller Produkte verantwortlich, sodass diese den vorgegebenen Standards und Fertigungsrichtlinien entsprechen. Dazu kommen noch Aufgaben in unserem Warenlager.

Warehouse and Assembly Technician - Germany

Description

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a passion for cycling and basic bike knowledge to fill the position of Warehouse and Assembly Technician.

Wir suchen eine motivierte Person mit Passion für Fahrräder und einem Basis-Wissen über Fahrradtechnik, um eine Stelle für Lager- und Montagetechnik zu besetzen.

Responsibilities
  • Warehouse duties: receiving goods, shelving goods, kitting components, cycle counts, inventory control / Lager: Warenannahme, Ware verräumen, Produkte zusammenführen, Bestandszählungen, Bestandskontrolle
  • Pack bikes and product for shipping / Fahrräder verpacken und für den Versand vorbereiten
  • Wheel decal application / Laufradaufkleber anbringen
  • Follow directions in accordance with set guidelines / Nach bestehenden Vorgaben und Guidelines arbeiten
  • Sweep or clean as needed / Nach Bedarf fegen oder reinigen
