Inside Sale Representative

This role is based on-site in Tempe, AZ

At Pivot Cycles, we’re passionate about creating world-class bikes that push innovation, performance, and design. As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be a vital part of our sales team—connecting directly with our retail partners and helping them bring Pivot bikes to riders in their communities.

This role is all about relationship-building, account management, and hitting sales targets. You’ll collaborate with Outside Sales Reps, support dealers, manage orders, and help ensure the right bikes get to the right people at the right time. If you love bikes, are great with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales in your assigned territory by supporting and growing relationships with Pivot dealers.
  • Manage the full sales order process: quoting, tracking, and coordinating deliveries.
  • Use historical data and sales trends to help dealers plan pre-season orders.
  • Match in-demand products with available inventory to maximize revenue and fulfillment.
  • Be a go-to resource for dealers—educating them on Pivot’s products, availability, and sales programs.
  • Partner with Outside Sales Reps to identify new opportunities, onboard dealers, and build business plans.
  • Track territory trends and provide insights to help the team stay ahead of the curve.
  • Help dealers manage excess inventory and keep stock levels healthy.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting to support business planning.
  • Represent Pivot Cycles at key events like Sea Otter, dealer shows, and sales meetings.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the bike, outdoor, or specialty retail industry.
  • Experience working with Outside Sales Reps on shared sales goals.
  • Strong knowledge of bikes—especially mountain bikes—and bicycle components.
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Hubspot, and ideally ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics GP.
  • Solid track record of meeting sales targets and managing accounts.
  • Self-starter with great time management skills.
  • Team player who’s comfortable working with in-person and remote teammates.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is a plus.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 10% for occasional events and dealer visits.
  • Some light lifting (up to 50 lbs), occasional kneeling, standing, or bending required. Reasonable accommodation can be made.

Driven by our core value of “Welcoming,” Pivot Cycles strives to build a workplace that is inclusive, respectful, and free from unlawful discrimination, whether based on race, color, creed, age, religion, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation or any other legally protected characteristics.
