Corporate Paralegal

This role is based on-site in Tempe, AZ.
Description

Pivot Cycles is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support our growing legal and compliance functions. In this role, you’ll work closely with executive leadership and external counsel to manage a wide range of corporate legal matters, including contracts, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your work directly supports our global operations and innovation in the cycling industry.

Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate dealer agreements, distribution contracts, vendor agreements, and supply agreements
  • Trademark Portfolio: Maintain trademark portfolio across multiple jurisdictions, coordinate filings and renewals with outside counsel, monitor for infringement
  • Corporate Governance: Maintain corporate records, prepare board materials, manage entity compliance across jurisdictions
  • Litigation Support: Coordinate with outside counsel on active matters, manage document production and discovery
  • Regulatory Compliance: Track compliance requirements for bicycle and e-bike sales across US states and international markets
  • Outside Counsel Management: Serve as primary contact for law firms, manage engagement letters, track legal spending against budget
Requirements
  • Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years corporate/commercial paralegal experience
  • Experience with contract drafting and negotiation
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance and entity management
  • Familiarity with trademark and IP portfolio management
  • Experience working with international legal matters preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of contract management software and legal research tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products

Independent Sales Representative—Great Lakes

Description

This position is for an independent contractor. 

It is Pivot’s calling to build cutting edge bikes that take the rider’s experience to another level. As our dealer partners are vital to serve these discriminating riders, we need an independent sales rep who is committed to supporting our retailers with excellence.   

Responsibilities
  • Travel within assigned Great Lakes territory (Monday through Friday—some weekend events); as well as occasional trips to company headquarters and/or regional events for training 
  • Schedule visits with dealers and follow through in a professional manner 
  • Stay current on industry trends and communicating observations 
  • Maintain expertise in local markets, establishing and maintaining relationships 
  • Bring a consultative approach in assessing the needs of bicycle retailers to present solutions 
  • Provide technical and sales strategy information to support dealers 
  • Address customer issues skillfully to boost brand affinity 
  • Develop a territory plan to achieve monthly/annual sales targets 
  • Plan and execute demo events in partnership with dealers

Front-End Developer

Description

Pivot Cycles is seeking a front-end developer with strong UI/UX instincts to join our small but mighty software team. This role is ideal for someone who loves building intuitive, performant, and visually compelling user experiences, while thriving in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

About the Role

You will be the front-end specialist in a small development team. You’ll collaborate closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate business needs and design concepts into polished digital experiences.

This is a mid-level position where you’ll both receive designs in Figma and create wireframes or user flows to refine ideas before implementation. You’ll have shared ownership of the front-end codebase, helping establish best practices, ensuring brand consistency, and driving high-quality user experiences across our digital platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript.
  • Translate designs and wireframes into functional, pixel-perfect interfaces.
  • Create wireframes and flows where design details need refinement.
  • Ensure front-end code adheres to brand guidelines and design philosophy.
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and usability.
  • Implement and maintain testing practices (unit, integration, automated).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve UI issues, performance bottlenecks, and design inconsistencies.
  • Actively participate in sprint ceremonies (daily standups, retrospectives, planning).
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture by being responsive, collaborative, and humble.
Requirements
  • Solid foundation in semantic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Proficiency with Figma (both consuming designs and creating wireframes/flows).
  • Understanding of responsive and accessible design principles (WCAG standards).
  • Familiarity with software development practices such as version control (Git) and design patterns.
  • Experience integrating front-end applications with GraphQL and RESTful APIs.

Warranty and After Sales Specialist

 Description

This role is based on-site in Tempe, AZ.

As a Warranty and After Sales Specialist, you will support our domestic and international teams in assisting Pivot dealers, distributors and end consumers with warranty claims and technical issues, while delivering world-class customer service. This position works closely with both the Sales and Customer Service departments.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Warranty and After Sales Support team in evaluating warranty and non-warranty replacement claims by assisting dealers, distributors and end consumers with the entire process to include issuing return authorizations (RA), product evaluation, replacement, and follow up 
  • Prioritize warranty inquiries and submissions daily, to ensure a turnaround of 48 hours or less 
  • Accurately receive, inspect and analyze warranty and non-warranty product returns 
  • Ensure that the team responds on the same day to customer, dealer and distributor calls and emails 
  • Learn and operate within the Pivot ERP system to create return authorizations, process warranties, and maintain warranty stock 
  • Answer technical questions for end consumers, distributors, and dealers as necessary 
  • Work with the Product Development team to improve product and improve production 
  • Process bearing requests for US, Germany and International 
  • Complete E-Bike configuration requests 
Requirements
  • 2 years of bicycle industry experience in sales, service, or technical support 
  • Previous experience as a bicycle mechanic specializing in high-end mountain bikes 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office: Excel, Word, Outlook 
  • Ability to learn and operate the Pivot ERP system 
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and HubSpot are desired

Demo Technician/In-House Driver

Description

The In-House Demo Driver is one of Pivot’s most important customer interaction points – meeting thousands of potential and current Pivot customers around the country each year at retailer-based demos and bicycle festivals.

This position is based in Tempe, AZ and will require going on the road frequently for extended periods (up to 12 weeks at a time) while supporting North American events in a wide range of locations across the US. You will also travel to and support events in AZ. Expect a particularly busy schedule from June to October with an emphasis on weekend events. The total travel for this position is expected to be 4-5 months of the year.

Responsibilities
  • Travel to each assigned event, meet and greet with retailers, work with retailer-supplied staff and local reps to set up and execute the demo event 
  • Conduct technical education, greet customers, gather rider waivers and set up demo bikes according to Pivot guidelines during the demo event 
  • Follow up verbally with each customer after their ride and with each retailer after the demo event 
  • Write required reports after each event in the established format to enable the sales, marketing and engineering staff to benefit from your on-the-road experiences 
  • Build and maintain the in-house demo fleet 
  • Help to set up customers during the factory demos  
  • Build new bikes for various media outlets and new bike launches 
  • Support the Demo Supervisor with maintenance and tracking of the entire demo fleet 
  • Support other departments within the company as needed 
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED 
  • Clean driving record 
  • Previous bicycle shop, demo driver or other relevant industry experience 
  • Excellent understanding of the bicycle – mechanical, suspension and components 
  • Complete knowledge of bicycle related tools and their use  
  • Must be organized and self-motivated to work independently or as a team 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office products – Excel, Word and Outlook 
  • Mechanic certifications are a plus 
  • Able to lift 75lbs and work in standing position for several hours at a time
