Growing up riding dirtbikes on Arizona’s technical single-track with her Dad, Stefanie learned at a young age the meaning of full throttle. Her first mountain bike experience in 2009 at Sunrise Ski Park ended a couple feet into the first run of the day. After going OTB on the entry drop and suffering a concussion, it turns out bicycles don’t have throttles! She rediscovered mountain biking in 2015, after being challenged by the chunky terrain of Phoenix trails and wanting to keep up with the guys. Her husband encouraged her to enter the inaugural Arizona Enduro series at Sunrise Ski Park in the fall of 2017; she entered, podiumed in the open class, and ignited a passion for racing. Stefanie spends most of her time shredding her backyard of South Mountain Park, helping run her family’s electrical contracting business, and traveling with her husband Mike and rescue mutt Bowie.
