Loudenvielle Delivers Another Strong Step Forward for Pivot Factory Racing

The second round of the 2026 UCI Downhill World Cup season brought Pivot Factory Racing to Loudenvielle, France, where dry conditions and a rough, high-speed track created a demanding test for the world’s best riders. With technical sections, deep braking bumps and little room for error, the team continued to build momentum throughout the week, showing strong pace in qualifying and delivering another string of solid result in finals.

Dylan Maples led the charge with an impressive weekend, qualifying 6th in Q1 before securing 13th place in finals. Roger Vieira continued his strong start to the season, qualifying 15th in Q1 and finishing 18th overall. Bernard Kerr was on pace for a standout result before running high in one of the final berms and hitting the ground. Despite the crash, he recovered quickly and fought through to finish 21st. Jenna Hastings was forced to sit out the event after sustaining a sprained thumb during practice but is recovering well and targeting a return at Leogang.

Meanwhile, Morgane Charre’s first enduro race of the season was cut short following a Stage 1 crash, leading her to withdraw as a precaution and focus on returning to full strength for the races ahead.

The team’s collective effort moved Pivot Factory Racing up to 8th in the overall team standings as they look to carry that momentum into Leogang, Austria next week.

Team Results:

Dylan Maples: P13

After a focused off-season in Queenstown, where long days, steep tracks and relentless laps built a deep foundation, the team has come out swinging. Early-season results across multiple disciplines and continents reflect the work put in during the off-season, with strong performances already stacking up across downhill, enduro and urban racing. With two championship titles already secured, by Jenna Hastings and Roger Viera, and momentum building, the team is ready to carry that speed straight into the World Cup season.

Q1 Highlights

The opening stretch of 2026 has already delivered a string of standout performances, showcasing the team’s depth and momentum across disciplines.

Jenna Hastings has been dominant from the outset. Claiming the 2026 New Zealand National Championship, followed by a sweep of Crankworx downhill events in Christchurch and Rotorua, along with a win in Air DH. Her ability to execute across formats has made her one of the most consistent riders as the season kicks off.

Roger Vieira added a major title of his own, securing the Pan American Continental Championship while currently holding second overall in the Red Bull Cerro Abajo series. His versatility between traditional downhill and urban racing continues to stand out.

Morgane Charre opened her campaign with a win at the Trans Azteca Enduro, highlighting her strength in demanding multi-stage racing. Bernard Kerr and Dylan Maples have also been steadily building form, with Kerr taking on some of the toughest events on the calendar including a 4th place finish at Red Bull Hardline Tasmania, and Maples securing top-five results at both the Tennessee National DH and Cannonball Festival.
