Pivot Factory Racing Battles Through Adversity at Lenzerheide World Cup

Round four of the 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Series brought Pivot Factory Racing to Lenzerheide, Switzerland, where one of the most picturesque venues on the calendar delivered some of the tightest racing of the season. With loose dust layered over hard-packed terrain, riders spent the week searching for grip on a track where every tenth of a second mattered.

The weekend took an unfortunate turn early when Bernard Kerr crashed during practice and suffered a fractured patella, ending his weekend before qualifying began. Despite the setback, the rest of the team continued to show strong pace throughout the event.

Jenna Hastings overcame a challenging start to the week as she adapted to the slippery conditions, finding her rhythm when it mattered most. After advancing through Q2, she delivered another consistent finals performance to finish 11th, narrowly missing out on a top-10 result.

Dylan Maples continued the impressive form he has shown throughout the first few rounds, qualifying 9th and advancing directly through Q1. While finals didn’t unfold as planned, Maples secured 17th place and moved up to 11th overall in the Elite Men’s World Cup standings, continuing his steady climb through the rankings.

Roger Vieira narrowly missed advancing directly through Q1 before returning for Q2 determined to secure a finals berth. Showing competitive pace throughout qualifying, Vieira ultimately went off track while pushing for the time needed to advance, ending an otherwise promising weekend.

While Lenzerheide presented its share of challenges, the team leaves Switzerland with several positives. Hastings continues to build momentum in her return from injury, Maples has climbed to 11th overall in the World Cup standings, and the team remains firmly focused on the next round as the season progresses.

Pivot Factory Racing’s Success Continues with Historic Leogang Qualifying Result

Round three of the 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Series brought Pivot Factory Racing to Leogang, Austria, where heavy rain throughout the week transformed one of the sport’s most iconic venues into a constantly evolving challenge. Deep ruts, slippery roots and rapidly changing track conditions tested riders throughout the weekend as the team continued to build momentum across the downhill program.

The standout moment came during qualifying, where Dylan Maples delivered a breakthrough performance to secure P1 in Elite Men qualifying, marking the first time Pivot Factory Racing has topped qualifying at a UCI World Cup. Bernard Kerr also advanced directly through Q1 with a strong 12th-place result, while Jenna Hastings successfully fought her way through Q2 in her return to racing following a thumb injury sustained in Loudenvielle.

Dylan Maples led the charge with an impressive weekend, qualifying 6th in Q1 before securing 13th place in finals. Roger Vieira continued his strong start to the season, qualifying 15th in Q1 and finishing 18th overall.
