  1. Where are you from?

Born in El Paso, Texas, grew up in Vernal, Utah, but my claimed hometown is Tustin, California.

  2. Where is your all-time favorite trail or area?

CA, it's Aliso Woods Canyon the trailed loop is Cholla to Rocket. In AZ it's Javalina and the Mormon Loop.

  3. What do you do here anyway?

All things Sale related. My motto is, everything I touch turns to sold. I also handle the forecasting and production management. More importantly I'm the guy who buys the donuts!

  4. How did you wind up at Pivot?

I used to work for Shimano as the OEM sales guy. I was influential in getting Chris on the XTR team for the M975 group that was launched in 2006, as well as helping with the Press Fit BB that we use today on our bikes. When I left Shimano to pursue other adventures, Chris left an open invitation to come work with him. At the end of December 2008, I reached out to Chris, and was immediately hired as the National Sales Manager. I started working from home the week of January 5th, my official start days was January 19th, this is important to note, because Brien claims to have worked here longer than me by 1 week. It’s science, but as you can see, I started working the day Chris said I was hired…

  5. If I gave you a bowl of ice cream, what would you put on it?

More chocolate ice cream. Picture it with me. Ice cream on top of ice cream on top of ice cream.
