Rob Warner and RedBull head to London for this Bernard Kerr interview at the John Pound – Guildford’s Wednesday Night dirt jump scene, and then get a tour of the the Pivot Factory Racing headquarters in the Europe, ie. Bernard’s mum’s kitchen. Not many people know this, but Bernard is not only one of the fastest riders in the world, but he also runs the entire Pivot downhill program. Bernard talks about his motivations, and his mom and growing up on the trail.
In the second half, Bernard takes Rob out for a ride on the Peaslake trails – London’s best local riding and “pure fun” and gets some insight into how Bernard plans to move into the top ranks of downhill World Cup after winning the Red Bull Hardline Race. The Pivot Factory Racing team is already on fire this season and with Bernard, returning shredder Emilie Siegenthaler and new recruit Rupert Chapman all in prime form, they are ready for the 2017 World Cup.
