The Pivot Chill Zone at the NICA Flagstaff race

The second NICA race of the season dawned cold and wet this past weekend in Flagstaff, Arizona. After two days of intermittent downpour, the course was saturated, which resulted in slick mud on corners as the race progressed.

Pivot staff manned the Chill Zone and made sure the racers had everything they needed after tackling the course, while Chris Cocalis acted as a Roving Course Marshall, assisting athletes with technicals and keeping the course clear.

A huge congratulations goes out to everyone who lined up to start the race, as well as to the family, friends, volunteers, and sponsors who help make the NICA races possible.
